Bea was adopted by her foster family in May, 2021.

Bea is a very lovely dog, constantly wagging her tail and loves to be where her humans are. She loves to be petted and will occasionally climb into our laps or lay next to us on the couch. But she also is content to lay on a dog bed and doesn’t necessarily need to be right by our feet. We have taken to leaving her kennel door wide open because Bea will use the kennel willingly as a quiet place to go enjoy a nap. Bea gets along well with the other resident dogs and cats in our home. She does engage in playful nature with our dogs, although she is not as steady on her feet as younger dogs and sometimes falls over. She enjoys the outdoors very much and likes to sunbath and take naps in the sunshine. Bea walks well on leash, minds very well and will come when you call her, she is a little hard of hearing however. She also likes to stick her nose to the ground and follow the scent, so we feel she would be best suited at her new home with a fence around the yard. Bea enjoys playing with toys, and can be a little possessive of chew snacks but overall gets along very well with other dogs.

I am concerned with Bea’s hearing that she will wander and then not hear her new owners or the horn from a car. So for this reason, she will need a fenced in yard.
