Sasha was adopted in March, 2019. Here she is with her new human.

Sasha was abandoned along with 2 human children in Kentucky. Fortunately, someone took the kids and Sasha got taken to the shelter. It seems she had been fairly well taken care of prior to being abandoned.

In her former life, I do believe that this girl was permitted on the furniture because she wants nothing more than to just lie next to you while you pet her relentlessly. Keeping tabs on her human is a must. When she first came to me, she barely moved. That was fear. She is now opening up and becoming more confident but she does show some separation anxiety. If I leave the house without her, she will scratch at the door. She goes peacefully into her crate but starts to make noise as soon as I come in to come get her out.

If you are not paying attention to her, she will throw her paw at you to beckon you to pet. She will also push your hand with her nose if you ignore her. She is an attention hound. She is not a jumper and rarely barks.

Sasha is very calm in the house but if there is food left unattended, she might try to sneak it. She has been permitted run of the house at night and she has been the perfect little girl.
