Meka was adopted in October, 2016. Here she is with her new family!

Breed: Border Collie Mix

Color/Markings: Black with white chest, white blaze, half white collar, white legs, and some black spots on her white areas

Hair/Coat: Long, thick, wavy, tail is very bushy

BC Traits/Behaviors: Good at jumps, wants to herd the horses, loves to run at full speed

History: Meka was rescued from southern Ohio when found living under a shed. She was pregnant and has since delivered 7 healthy puppies & has weaned them.

Housemanners: Very active outside but quiet inside. Housebroke. Has not had any accidents inside. However, does need to be crated as she likes to tear up paper towels, Kleenex, etc.

Potty Break Routine: She is fine with holding it all night w/o being in a crate.

Diet: Currently on Earthborne Grain Free – Crunchy dog treats and also nice smelly soft treats when training.

Barking: Barks at anyone approaching home.

Car rides: Very quiet in car. Has had a couple car sickness episodes, but not every time.

Games & Toys: Carries her inside stuffed toys wherever she decides to take a break. Loves to play with other dogs.

Crate Tolerance: Is not happy about going in, but settles down right away.
