October, 2014: Jake is a happy boy. He plays with us in the backyard and runs with me a little. He has daycare visits once a week and an overnight on every other Saturday. He loves it there and gets worn out playing. He usually gets a bath there if it's too cold to shampoo him outside. They love Jake at daycare and give him hugs almost like we do.
My oldest son is 19 and has a very strong loving connection with Jake. He lets Jake on the couch in the basement...which we don't usually do upstairs. Whenever my son walks though the house Jake has to see where he goes.
Jake waits before going in the house...He obeys the rules almost all of the time..hehe. He gets treats still, but not too many. He has stayed pretty lean as you can see in the picture. He's great at catching Frisbees too!!
Jake is a member of our family and we cherish him. Thank you for calling us when jake was available to adopt almost 4 years ago! 
Update: Bychan was adopted in March, 2011 and is now known as Jake. We look forward to receiving updates from his new family.
Bychan is a one of eight puppies GLBCR took in from a breeder who had lost her home. This was an accidental litter, between two purebred dogs, and both parents are from strong working lines. They can not be registered. These puppies should excel in sport or working homes. More to follow as we learn their individual personalities.
