Update: Walker was adopted in August, 2009. We would love to get an update from his new family.

This little wise guy is 36 pounds, 16 inches tall, about 2 years old and he is full of life and attitude. Walker is looking for an active family with strong leadership that he can call his own.

Walker loves to be with his people. He is happy to entertain you with all the tricks he knows: sit pretty, roll over, dance, and many others. He thinks car rides are great fun, taking a dip in the pond on a hot summer day (or not!) is awesome and there is nothing better than a rousing game of tug-of-war. Snuggling up to his people for cuddling and kisses is his idea of date night.

Walker is great with other dogs, cats, horses and chickens, but he is not fond of children. He needs constant management around them so he does not get himself in trouble. He has had several very mild seizures and has medication that he takes twice daily.

Walker is very eager to learn new things. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on a leash, sits, stays and comes when he is called. It is very important that he has strong leaders in his life. He understands and respects people with good leadership skills. If you are not willing to lead, then Walker will step up, and he has shown he does not make the best decisions.

Come visit with this intelligent, quick thinking, funny, loving, loyal companion who is looking for the right people to call his very own.
