April, 2013: "River and I are doing just great. He is going on seven years old (can you believe it?). His facial hair has gotten very grey and it gives him a distinguished look. It has changed his looks so noticeably that folks her socially on Saturday who saw him as a much younger dog asked if we had gotten another dog."
Update: Fella was adopted in May, 2007 and is now known as River.
