Update: Erin was adopted in January, 2007. A month later we received the following update: "Ms Erin is doing very good and is adjusting to her new home. She is full of
energy (no surprise she's a BC) and has been keeping me on my toes. We had
our first night of "school" last night and the instructors commented on how
beautiful she is. It was a stimulating situation for Erin as has been most
of her week. Lots of new things!
"We are very happy that we were the ones that got to give her a home, it was
well worth the wait! I have attached some pictures from her first day here
in Chicago. We'll keep you updated on her. Hopefully you'll get a chance
to meet her at the annual picnic."
