Update: Wilson was adopted in March, 2006. He spent four wonderful years in his adoptive home, and crossed the Bridge in May, 2010. In the note that told us of his passing, his family wrote: "even though our beginning together was a little rough and unsure - we came to love wilson deeply. he had a quiet & loving personality...he always wanted to be near us - he would nudge us with that wet nose of his if we weren't paying enough attention to him. we can easily say that wilson - our 2nd dog - was as good a dog as our doogie. we were happy to have had him for these last five years & we can only hope that these last years were happy and loving for him. thank you for helping us have another wonderful border collie."
