Update February 25, 2012: I wanted to share this picture of Elsie keeping in touch with her friends back home on the computer from our home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since adopting her in 2006 we have lived in seven states and soon will be moving to our third country, Venezuela. Such is life on the campaign trail and Elsie likes nothing more than marching in a parade or posing for photos with candidates and supporters alike. At 7+ years old she has barely lost a step of energy and still requires an ample amount of vigorous exercise everyday. Seldom is she seen without a ball in her mouth or a tug-rope within paw's reach. Her intelligence is remarkable even though she is only a half Border Collie, half Labrador or Borador as they're now known, she responds to commands in English, Spanish, Portuguese & some French with a vocabulary well north of 100 words. Honestly she's probably smarter than some of the candidates she's helped get elected. Anyway, wanted to share a picture and story with you as thanks from both of us for getting us together as we've become inseparable and the best of friends. Keep up the good work and buena suerte.
Update: Elsie was adopted in July, 2006.
