Update: Herbie was adopted in April, 2005. We received the following report shortly after: "Good morning everyone. I have a couple of photos of our family with Herbie when we picked him up. We had a real nice weekend with him. The kids love him, and he gives them LOTS of kisses. All is going well so far. Holly and Herbie were actually laying head to head a little bit ago. That's a good sign!"
"I took some pictures of the kids. Herbie is such a bundle of love. The kids are helping to teach him about doggie toys,(we have a
whole basket full of them). He is starting to learn about tug-of-war,chasing a ball, and just playing with them. I think he still mostly enjoys his tummy rubs though! WE JUST LOVE HIM!"
