Foster Write-Up: After being picked up as a stray in Jefferson County, Mo., Comet started his life with GLBCR in a pretty exciting way. He was being transported from southern Indiana up to Michigan with Charlotte, when she decided to give birth to her 8 puppies. He seemed quite unfazed by all this excitement and settled in with Linda and her doggy family as though nothing had happened. Comet is a very friendly dog with unusual markings. He doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body and even Mitzi, Linda's more timid bc/mix, loves to play with him. He has been to the dog park in Northville every day and gets along with every dog he has met. Comet's lab side shows in that he is very playful, and loves to chew his Kong or any toy he can find. We have yet to teach him to put all the toys back. Comet would do well in a home with another dog, probably an alpha dog, that likes to play.
