Kevin had a long and wild ride into rescue. I'm his 4th stop already in his young life. Anyway, thru it all he's maintained a happy outlook. He arrived like most adolescent males do, with little training and structure. I know his last place tried hard but resident dogs could not get along. We're thinking Kevin is a BC/Husky mix. He has some BC traits but a LOT of Husky. He's very opinionated and lets you know. He loves toys and treats and tummy rubs. Melts for attention. He can be a little overwhelming for softer dogs but will make a great playmate for another active dog. He ignores the kitties for the most part. Except when my young cat taunts him into chasing her but I put an end to that right away.

Kevin is enrolled in a basic household obedience class and is doing well. He's very bright. A double edge sword, because you have to be a step ahead of him. We're working on impulse control and he's improving. With my physical limitations I'm unable to take him on walks in the city, but he does well in school. Practice makes perfect.

He's very loving and affectionate and has a nice off switch. He sleeps in his crate at night. As of yet, he has to be crated when unattended because he likes to counter surf and loves to chew cardboard. He has a phenomenal nose and can smell pet food thru a sealed package and Chewy box. Don't ask how I know.....

Overall, this handsome guy is a real gem. His happy-go-lucky attitude is contagious. He's ready for adventure.
