I can't really remember when my fascination with Border Collies started. About four years ago, all of a sudden the interest was here - the brain, the looks, the behavior, the intensity, it all added up to what I like in a dog. I became involved with GLBCR when it was still MBCR. During my work at the Humane Society in Lansing, I got in contact with Patty, which lead to my first foster dog. About 6 months later, my wonderful Apache, Dennis' and Callie's brother, came into my life and took it over with his obsession with water and frisbees. Between then and now, there came and went several wonderful fosters, some hard to let go. Apache, however, has made it very clear that he wants to be the only BC in my life, although he really doesn't mind my other two non-BC dogs, Vixie and Cheyenne. Well, I guess I have to obey him.
